What is Detailing?The dictionary describes detail as "the act of dealing with things item by item" until the job is finished.
Detailing is not painting the stripes that go along the sides of a lot of vehicles today.  Detailing is getting your vehicle extra clean and shiny, area by area. It means that small areas such as inside the letters on the side of your vehicle get just as much care as the rest of your vehicle. The means cars, trucks, boats, airplanes, motor homes, and many other kinds of transportation. With an exterior detailing this insures that the entire outside of your vehicle is cleaned, polished and UV protected, including the inside and the outside of all the windows, and mirrors.
A traditional exterior 'detail job' would mean that the vehicle would be washed with soap and water, dried, waxed with a paste or liquid wax, sealed with a wax sealer, polished to a high shine with a buffer. This process could take anywhere from six to eight hours. However, with the procedures we use this whole series of steps plus the UV protection takes from one and one-half to two hours, depending on the size of vehicle. So with us this is more than a wash, a wax, a polish, and much more than a traditional detail job.
A full detail job means that the dash, carpet, seats, instrument panel, and trunk would get the same care as the outside of the vehicle. Each area of a vehicle can have a 'detail job' done to it, but generally, it means as the outside finish and both sides of all the glass of the vehicle. When  does a detail job it's the little extras that count. This means cleaning the inside of the ashtray, the glove box, and vacuuming in behind seats. We also remove the spare tire whenever possible to clean in and around the well. When you are privileged to 'let us do it,' it will get done and done correctly.
